Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, February 1, 1952 ROY BYRNE DIES IN INDIO, CALIFORNIA Funeral services were conducted in Indio, Calif., Tuesday morning for Roy A. Byrne, fomer Wickenburg resident, who died there January 25 after an illness of one week. Mr Byrne left Wickenburg December 31, 1950, and has been operating the Kalinda Hotel in Indio since then. While here he operated the Casa Blanca Lodge on the Prescott Highway. Some years before that he operated the Hassayampa Hotel. He was in his late 60s. The widow, Margaret Byrne, and a foster daughter, Gay Lynn, survive.
