FIX, Else

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 5, 2003 Else Fix, 97 passed away in Phoenix on December 23, 2002. She was born in Germany, April 20, 1905, came to the U.S. in 1928 and proudly became a citizen in 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Eugene Fix and her daughter Elsie McNaughton (John) of Hickory Hills, Illinois. Else is survived by her daughter Ruth Martin (Paul) of Phoenix, Arizona, six grandchildren: Lynn, Jeff, Patrick, Jason, Kathleen and Jenny and six great-grandchildren. She lived in Phoenix for the last 8 years until her death. A visitation will be at 6 p.m. and a vigil will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2003 at Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 East Indian School Rd. Funeral services will be held in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Else Fix to St. Theresa's Parish Perpetual Fund, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, Arizona 85018 or your favorite charity.
