Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, April 24, 1953 MRS LANE'S MOTHER SUMMONED AS SHE APPROACHED AGE 97 Her many friends are extending sympathy and condolence to Mrs Velma Lane of Wickenburg whose mother, Mrs L. F. Mckie, passed away April 16 at the home of another daughter, Mrs H. R. Woolwine, in Los Angeles. Had she lived until May 1, Mrs McKie would have been 97 years of age. She had been ill only a few days prior to her death. Mrs Lane was called to Los Angeles for the funeral services which were held last Sunday at the Utter-McKinley Mortuary with burial following in Inglewood Cemetery. Mrs McKie was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are Mrs Lane, Mrs Woolwine, four other daughters and two sons.
