Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Robert E. Anderson (April 27, 1912 - October 3, 2009) Robert E. Anderson, 97, of Lakeside, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Summit Healthcare in Show Low. He was born April 27, 1912 in Minnesota. He was raised and attended school in South Dakota. He was married to Gladys Stadheim on July 16, 1934 in Florence, SD. He had lived in California for 40 years, and came to Arizona 30 years ago. He was a merchant, having owned several retail businesses. He had been a member of the Elks Lodge in California, and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and woodworking. Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Byron) Armstrong of Lakeside and Linda (Bob) Sitterly of Chino Valley; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter Vickie Roberts; four brothers and one sister. No services are planned at this time.
