West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 Jean L. Campbell, 75, of Buckeye died Jan. 4, 2009. Mrs. Campbell was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Wickenburg to William Fay and Mary Ruth Karstetter. In 1935, the family moved to Palo Verde. She attended Buckeye Elementary School and Buckeye Union High School. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Melford "Tuffy"; two sons, Melford Jr. of Hendersonville, N.C. and Brian; three sisters, Ruth Wood, Verna Martin and Kathy Bruehl; two brothers, Al Karstetter of Goodyear and Garland Karstetter of Show Low; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Road in Buckeye. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Southern Baptist Church, 405 N. Third St. in Buckeye. Memorials may be made to New Youth Center at First Southern Baptist Church, 405 N. Third St., Buckeye, AZ 85326.
