West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 Helen Crawford, 93, of Goodyear died Jan. 2, 2009, in Peoria. Mrs. Crawford was born Aug. 27, 1915, in Williams, Minn., to Alex and Myrtle Smith. She moved to southern California in 1941. In 2000, she moved to Arizona and lived with her daughter. She is survived by her two sons, David and Wayne; one daughter, Carol Burford; one sister, Eugina Crawford; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry. Visitation and services will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
