West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 Robert E. Pohto, 73, of Goodyear died Dec. 31, 2008, in Goodyear. Mr. Pohto was born Nov. 15, 1935, in Butte, Mont. He served in the Air Force for four years. He retired from the Boeing Company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Renton, Wash., and First Southern Baptist Church of Avondale. He is survived by his wife, Becky; one son, David; one sister, Roberta; one brother, Richard; and three grandchildren. Services were held in Washington.
