Swimming Accident at Bagdad is fatal to Melvin Ray Henderson 

Funeral services were held this week in Slaton, Texas, for Melvin Ray Henderson, 21 who died June 2 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, as the result of head injuries received while swimming in a Bagdad pool on May 29.
 
Young Henderson went to Bagdad just three months ago to live with his sister, Mrs. Ernest Dickie. He served in the Air Force during World War II.

Surviving, in addition to the sister and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Henderson of Slaton, are a brother, Billie J. Henderson of Wolforth, Texas, and a half-brother, Donald Salter of Comanche, Texas.
