West Valley View, Avondale, AZ January 13, 2009 Alan Boyd Darnell, 55, of Goodyear died Jan. 9, 2009. Mr. Darnell was born Sept. 15, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, to Leonard and Dorothy. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; two sons, Mark and Jay; one daughter, Sabrina; his mother, Dorothy; and one brother, Aaron Bruce Copley. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with a service at noon in Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
