West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 Joseph Poirier, 18, of Mesa and formerly Goodyear died in an automobile accident Jan. 6, 2009, in Mesa. Mr. Poirier was born Dec. 26, 1990, in Phoenix. He attended Wigwam Creek Middle School while in the sixth grade. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Bryan of Goodyear; his father, Joe; two sisters, Elizabeth Hosch of Goodyear and Samantha; one brother, Austin; one step-sister, Tamra Kimes; and four grandparents, Phillip and Kaye Bryan of New Baltimore, Mich., and John and Geneva of Casa Grande. Services were held Jan. 10 [2009] in Mesa and the Rev. Travis Hearn officiated. Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund in his name at any Chase Bank, account No. 2911943765.
