DESHAZO, Delbert C.

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 20, 2009 Delbert C. DeShazo, 84, of Harquahala Valley died Jan. 14, 2009, in Goodyear. Mr. DeShazo was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Foard City, Texas. He served in the Navy and during World War II was part of the crew on the USS Saratoga in the South Pacific. In 1948, he moved to Peoria and a few years later he moved Harquahala Valley. He worked as a farm hand. He is survived by his brother, Howard. No services are planned.
