West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 20, 2009 Maria Sanchez, 81, of Avondale died Jan. 15, 2009, in Goodyear. Mrs. Sanchez was born July 31, 1927, in Texas. She moved to Arizona in 1967. She is survived by three daughters, Carmen Ramos, Maria Acevedo and Estella Ramirez; two sons, Pablo and Mario; one sister, Celia Garcia; two brothers, Juan Ramirez and Aucencio Ramirez; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Rosary will be read at 7. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
