Nancy L. Miller, 73, of Scottsdale, died December 30, 2002.
She moved to Arizona after graduation from Kent State and worked in Ohio as a social worker. She served years as a teacher and counselor while working as a professor with the Maricopa Community College District. Nancy earned a doctoral degree in counseling and later earned a second doctoral degree in sociology at Arizona State University. She worked to support the needs of women and children. She made a difference in many students' lives.
She was elected as president of the faculty association in the Maricopa County Community College District while working at Scottsdale Community College.
Nancy enjoyed her dog, golf, and relaxation with friends at her cabin in Payson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at 3:00 p.m., at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.
