SUMMERS, Barbara Elaine

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, January 7, 2003 Barbara Elaine Summers, of Chandler, Arizona passed away Sunday, January 5, 2003. Barbara was born in Crown Point, New York on May 8, 1920 to the late John and Prudence (Bigelow) Summers. She was a homemaker and moved to Arizona from California in 1966. Barbara is survived by sons, John H. Summers (Janet) J. Richard Summers (Patti), Thomas D. Summers (Donna); daughters, Shirley A. Horn (Phillip) and Nancy E. Lowry (W. Richard; sisters, Doris Zona and Juanita Brown and eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-granchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, James F. Summers and sister Virginia Larimer. Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chandler Presbyterian Church at 1500 W. Germann Road, Chandler, Az. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary. The family requests donations to The Chandler Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
