Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 10, 1958, p. 1 Grandfather Of John Wright Dies Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in Phoenix for John Maurice McCoy, 91-year-old grandfather of John Wright of Wickenburg. Burial was in Glendale's Resthaven Park. Mr. McCoy died October 3 in a Phoenix rest home. Born in Oskaloosa, Ia., Mr. McCoy came to Arizona in 1896, and until he retired in 1947 he operated the John McCoy Insurance Agency in Glendale. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Harris of Phoenix; a son, Robert McCoy of Cottonwood, five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
