The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, January 28, 2003 Lois M. Cummings, died Thursday, January 23, 2003. She was preceded in death by two brothers Hugh and King. Survived by sisters Joan Houghtailing, Mary Jane Femrite, brother-in-law Edsel, seventeen nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wed., January 29, 2003 at St. Andrews The Apostle Catholic Church located at 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler. Lois was also a member of Yesterdays Kids Senior Group at church. Inurnment will be in Detroit, Michigan at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley Arbor House Palliative Care Unit 6063 E. Arbor Avenue Building B, Mesa, Az., 85206, or Hospice of the Valley Home Care, Mesa, Arizona. Tempe Mortuary assisted in the arrangements.
