Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 14, 1958, p. 1 Rites For Father Of Floyd Gyger Held In Glendale Funeral services were held at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning in Glendale for Erly E. Gyger of that city, father of Floyd Gyger of Wickenburg. Burial was in the Resthaven Cemetery at Glendale. Mr. Gyger, who would have been 87 years old next month, died Saturday night in his home. He was a native of Texas but had lived in Arizona since 1925. Last May he and Mrs. Gyger observed their 65th wedding anniversary. Survivors, in addition to the widow and the Wickenburg son, include these other sons and daughters: Alvin, Payson; Ernest, Perryton, Texas; Roy, Pasadena, Calif.; Fred, Glendale; Glen, Flagstaff; Mrs. Lucille McLain, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Alene Corner, Prescott; and Mrs. Odell Smith, Glendale. He also is survived by 29 grand, children, 33 great - grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
