ROOSA, Phyllis

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 29, 2003 Mrs. Phyllis Roosa, was born April 14, 1918 in Kingston, New York. She was an accomplished pianist and a loving full time mother who with her husband moved her family from New York to Phoenix in the 1950's. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert M. Roosa and her daughter Pamela Garten. She is lovingly remember by her son, Alan Roosa, her grandchilren, Jeff Garten, Thomas Garten, Jaylee Draney, Brittany Hendrick, Timothy Roosa and four great-grandchildren. There will be no services. Her ashes will be placed next to her husbands in the same beautiful location in upstate New York.
