West Valley View, Avondale, Arizon February 6, 2009 Julia Buchanan, 81, of Buckeye died Jan. 28, 2009, in Goodyear. She was born Oct. 6, 1927, in Breckenridge, Texas. She lived in Louisiana where she worked at the Louisiana Downs Race Track. She was a homemaker, bartender and bar manager. She is survived by two daughters, Sonoma Johnson of Roswell, N.M., and Sheryl Pike; one son, Michael of Chico, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
