HAYES, SR., Cecil Lee

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 6, 2009 Cecil Lee Hayes Sr., 77, of Goodyear died Jan. 25, 2009, at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix. Mr. Hayes was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Repley County, Mo. He moved to Arizona in 1968. He was an elder at Pinetop Community Presbyterian Church and attended Estrella Mountain Church. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Susan Cunningham-Hayes; one son, Cecil Jr. of Phoenix; two daughters, Betty Celia Vaughn of O'Fallon, Mo., and Jeany Kitzig of Tempe; three stepdaughters, Christine Hall of Blanco, Texas, Cathy Cunningham of Buckeye and Caren Himmesoete of Park City, Utah; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. A service will be held in Pinetop at a later date.
