PORTILLO, Eulalia (Lala)

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 13, 2009 Eulalia "Lala" Portillo, 88, of Litchfield Park died Feb. 4, 2009, in Goodyear. Mrs. Portillo was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Chicos, Texas. She moved to Arizona on Jan. 2, 1969 with her husband, Tino. She operated a housekeeping business in Litchfield Park. She was member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She is survived by her granddaughter whom she raised, Anna-Lisa Hernandez-Bigbey of El Paso, Texas; her stepdaughter, Sara Portillo; two sisters, Anita Carrasco and Maria Biscaino; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tino. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 16 at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 at St. Thomas, 13720 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. A reception will follow in St. Claire Hall. Memorials may be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church's Building Generations of Faith Building Fund, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85323
