Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, January 12, 1951 RITES ARE HELD IN ALTON, ILL., FOR MICHAEL DICKERSON WHO died in Community Hospital here Monday morning after a long illness. His widow, Mrs Doris Dickerson, and their 3 year old daughter, Karen Jane, left Tuesday to accompany the body to Alton, Ill., where services and burial were scheduled for the latter part of this week. BORN IN MISSOURI Mr Dickerson, 32 years old, was born in Foley, Mo., and lived for a number of years in St. Charles, Mo., and in Alton, Ill. Nine years ago he was married to the former Doris Howell in St. Charles. They came to Wickenburg three years ago in the hope that the climate might improve his health. Surviving, in addition to the widow and daughter, are the mother, Mrs Gertie Dickerson of Alton, and four brothers and three sisters, all residing in Illinois except one sister, Mrs Margaret Heifler of Tucson.
