TRIMM, Forrest A.


Forrest A. Trimm, 83, Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of St. Regis Falls, NY, died March 14, 1992, in Bryans Memorial Care Center, Phoenix. A graveside service will be held in Little Falls Cemetery, Little Falls, NY, later in the spring. Arrangements are with the Scottsdale Memorial Mortuary. Contributions may be made to Bryans Memorial Care Center. Surviving are two daughters, Marion Thomas, Little Falls, and Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Dubey, Canton; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Benjamin (Barbara) Martin, St. Regis Falls, a niece and a nephew. Three daughters died previously, Mrs. Fred (Betty) Kyer, Fine, in 1986, Mrs. William (Joyce M.) Frawley, Oswegatchie, in 1989, and Joy Trimm, Phoenix. A brother, Lyle, died in infancy. Twin sisters, Mrs. Howard (Joye) Montgomery and Mrs. Modesto (Joyce) Millares, both of St. Regis Falls, also died previously. He was born March 3, 1909, in Dickinson Center, NY, a son of William R. and Lulu E. Finlayson Trimm. He lived in Dickinson Center and St. Regis Falls. He married Opal Ward Feb. 15, 1930, in Oswegatchie. The couple lived in Fine for a time before moving to Little Falls. She died in April 1957, at the age of 45. Mr. Trimm later married Agnes Dillenbeck at Little Falls. The couple made their home at Little Falls before moving to Phoenix. She died previously. Mr. Trimm was a dairy farmer and truck driver in New York state. He owned and operated an irrigation business in Arizona before becoming ill. He was an avid camper. The Arizona Republic March 25, 1992
