West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 3, 2009 George L. Barch George L. Barch, of Phoenix and formerly of Buckeye died Feb. 17, 2009, in Phoenix. Mr. Barch was born Oct. 9, 1934, in Leelanau County, Mich., to Louis and Cecilia. He was an Air Force veteran. He moved to Arizona in 1957. He founded JG Supply in 1969, serving the West Valley farmers. He retired in 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Smithson of Buckeye; one brother, Louie; and three grandchildren. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. A reception will follow from 3 to 7 p.m. at 3017 N. 86th Ave. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
