West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 3, 2009 Rita Medrano, 83, of Tolleson died Feb. 24, 2009, in her home. Mrs. Medrano was born Dec. 7, 1925, in Tolleson. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Reyes; two daughters, Victoria Trejo and Julie Villareal; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Candelario. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Blessed Sacrament Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson, with Mass to follow.
