Verda Willis, 97, died May 25, 2003. She was born in Mesa, Ariz. Dec. 2, 1905.

She is survived by daughter Barbara Wood and husband Ted; two grandsons; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be June 2 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on West Wickenburg Way. Viewing will be at 10 a.m.
