Harriet Elizabeth Wood, 86, passed away peacefully Sept. 15, 2003 at her son's home in Fillmore, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1917 in Minneapolis, Minn. to Frank Elbert and Mary Josephine "Agnes" LaDuke Bronsdon.
She married Hans Christian Nelson April 18, 1942 in St. Louis Park, Minn. He died Nov. 30, 1945. She married Larence James Frampton April 1, 1952 in Pioche, Nev. He died Dec. 1, 1953. She married Charles Berg Wood Oct. 30, 1954 in Overton, Nev. He died April 21, 1998.
Harriet lived for 10 years in Wickenburg, Ariz., where she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She volunteered at the church and at the Wickenburg Nursing Home.
She was a skilled artist, an avid reader and loved nature, birds, flowers, the desert and rock hounding.
Survived by her children, John (Jan) Frampton of Fillmore, Utah; Jill (Brent) Kirkley of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Dora Bronsdon of Prince George, B.C. Canada.
Preceded in death by her parents, spouses, brothers, Aurin and Robert Franklin Bronsdon.
Memorial services were held Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003 at 1 p.m. in the Fillmore Baptist Church (400 W. and Center) under the direction of Magleby-Rasmussen Mortuary.
