DEAN, Joseph (Joe)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 12, 2003, B10 Joseph "Joe" Dean was born Sept. 10, 1929, in Texas. He lost his long battle with cancer Oct. 29, 2003, in Roff, Okla. He was 74. Memorial services were held Nov. 1 at the Smith Funeral Home in Ada, Okla. Surviving Joe is his wife of 53 years, Margaret; four children: Frank; Cheryl; Doug and wife, Kaye, of Cortez; Peggy and husband, Dan, of Ada; eight grandchildren: McCarren (Nick), Whitney, Misty (B.J.), Dustin (Alicia), Kassie, Krystle, Chris and Scott; one great-grandchild, PaisLeigh; two brothers: William "Country" and Clinton, and two sisters: Ella and Betty Jo. Preceding him in death was one infant son. A memorial fund was established for the Asbury Methodist Church in Ada, Okla. Cards may be sent to P.O. Box 493, Roff, OK 74865.
