Jane Vaughan Andrae, Aguila, Ariz., died Nov. 8, 2003. She was born on Sept. 7, 1922 in Adamana, Ariz. to Loy C. and Alberta Henning Turbeville. She attended grade and high school in Holbrook, graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1940 and attended Phoenix College. She graduated from University of Arizona at Tucson. Jane was a veteran of World War II in the United States Navy.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ennis Vaughan.
She lived in Kingman for many years where she and her husband had a ranch where they had horses, cattle and raised alfalfa. She was an accomplished horsewoman. Her parents were in the cattle business, and she spent the summers on the family ranch were she rode horseback from an early age. She lived in Wickenburg in the winter months for many years and in Quemado, N.M. during the summer time. In Wickenburg, she belonged to the Wickenburg Horsemen's Association.
She is survived by her husband, Vern Andrae; her son, Charles Ennis Vaughan, Kingman; two grandchildren; her sister Martha Turbeville Merkle, Scottsdale; her brother, John H. Turbeville, Murietta, Calif.; two cousins and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Nov. 24 at Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg, Ariz. at 2 p.m.
