The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 6, 1959 Mike Courtney’s Mother Summoned Mike Courtney returned Sunday from Galesburg, Ill., where he attended funeral services last Friday for his mother, Mrs. Cora Country, who died in a hospital in that city the evening of October 28. Mr. Courtney had left here October 25 and was with his mother when she died. She was 86 years old. Other survivors are another son, Paul, of Hammond, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. John Hast, Galesburg; Mrs. Will Phillips, Ft. Madison, Ia.; and Mrs. Rayde Ripperdon, Greensburg, Mo.; one brother, Ted Matticks of Galva, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Will McNear of Stockton, Calif. All were present for funeral.
