The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 9, 2003 Katherine Cooney Chandler, 89, daughter of John and Leta Cooney, born January 14, 1913 in Butte, Montana and died January 6, 2003 in Peoria, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Chandler, who died June 11, 1995. She is survived by son, Patrick J. Chandler (Kathy), Denver, Colo. and daughters, Leta Mulligan (John), Littleton, Colo.; Sally Rana (Edward), Glendale, Az. and Elizabeth Chandler, Surprise, Az.; brothers, Bob Cooney, Harlowton, Mt.; Frank Cooney, Clancy, Mt.; sister, Mary MacNamara, Helena, Mt.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2003 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2003 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 447 S. Litchfield Rd., Litchfield Park.
