WILDERMUTH, John R.


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 6, 2003 John R. Wildermuth, 60, of Coolidge, Arizona, passed away February 1, 2003. John was born March 15, 1942 in Florence, AZ. He was born to Ed R. and Bernece Wildermuth. He graduated from Coolidge High School in 1960. He received a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arizona and a Doctorate from the University of California at Davis. He taught Agricultural Economics at the University of Arizona for 6 years. Mr. Wildermuth received a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University in 1976 and practiced in Pinal County beginning that same year. He was Florence Town Attorney for the past 10 years, and was Magistrate for Coolidge for 8 years. He also acted as a Pinal County Juvenile Commissioner and Judge Pro-Tem for Pinal Justice Courts. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed R. Wildermuth April 25, 1997. Survivors include his wife Sharon of Coolidge; a daughter, Kerry Martinez of Peoria; a son, John Wildermuth of Tempe; his mother, Bernece Wildermuth of Coolidge; a sister, Diane Iles of Scottsdale; a brother, Tom Wildermuth of Coolidge; and three grandchildren, Audra Martinez, Marcus and Tara Wildermuth.
