The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 9, 2003 Richard C. Ross, 72, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died January 7, 2003 at his home. Rich was born October 3, 1930 in Long Branch, New Jersey and moved to Arizona 17 years ago from Atlanta, Georgia. He was Class President and 1958 graduate of the New Jersey Police Academy and received an honorable discharge in 1952 from the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Lucy-Meao Ross; five children, Rick Ross (Ann), Shirley Llewellyn (Larry), Lex Jackson (Al), Sharon Nelson; brother, Robert Ross (Micki) and many grand children and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be 4 p.m. Friday, January 10 at Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
