PAYNE, Claudia Mae

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 9, 2003 Claudia Mae Payne, Claudia was born February 28, 1937 in Bakersfield, Calif. and passed away on January 17, 2003 in Berkeley, Calif. She was born to Roger Payne Sr. and Dora Payne. She spent some years in the Phoenix area with her cousin the Culver family. Her memory shall be cherished by her brothers Alvin Payne of Oakland, Calif., Rev. Roger Payne, Wesley Payne of Berkeley, Calif.; sister Billie Jean Payne of Berkeley, Calif. and the Kirkland family.
