Adella C. Rush, was born on August 6, 1921 in Buffalo, NY. She passed on to her eternal home peacefully on February 5, 2003 surrounded by family. 

A loving wife and mother, survived by her daughters: Donna Turner (Leon), Barbara Knight (James), four sisters, two brothers, five grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. 

Interment will be in California at San Fernando Mission Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Donald Mertens. A private family memorial service will be held.
