Joan C. (Dunn) Anderson, 80, died peacefully January 10, 2003. Born in 1922 in Indiana to J. Hueston and Chloe Dunn, she graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing as an RN in 1953. 

Joan married Roy H. Anderson in 1953 who preceded her in death in 1982. 

She was a long-time member of Lakeshore Bible Church of God in Tempe. 

She is survived by her son Don (Nancy) Anderson of Phoenix; daughter Valdean Shetterly of Pomona, Calif.; step-son John (Christine) Anderson of Tempe; sister Regina Morrison of Orlando, Fla.; sister-in-law Vadie Bigger of Mesa; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14th; services 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan 15th, East Resthaven Memorial Park, 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix. 

Donations may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, Az., 85014.
