The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 11/05/2004 Katherine Emily Raban Duke, 91, died at her home in St. Johns, Oct. 30, 2004. Katherine was born May 5, 1913 in St. Johns and lived her whole life there. She married Wallace John Duke March 12, 1931 and they had one son. She was a Selective Service Agent with the Civil Service. Her survivors include her grandsons Wallace John, Hugh C., Ronald Earl, and Joseph Duke, and great grandchildren Shaun, Scott, Chris, Matt, Josh, Brandon, Sam and Grace. Her husband Wallace John Duke died in 1979. Her son Wallace Earl, granddaughter Deborah and great grandson Michael also precede her in death. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Westside Cemetery in St. Johns. Contributions and memorials should be made to R.T.A. Hospice, Lakeside. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
