STOBBE, Katherine (Kitty)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 9, 2003 Katherine "Kitty" Stobbe, 82, of Glendale, passed away February 6, 2003. She was born September 6, 1921 in Carona, New Mexico. She has worked for the YMCA in Phoenix, and was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Harry Stobbe, daughter Deanna Thompson, son Harry Stobbe, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 9th, from 3-6pm at the A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix. Funeral service will be Monday, Feb. 10th at 11am, also at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Arthritis Foundation, 1313 E. Osborn Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or the National Osteoporosis Foundation, 1232 22nd St. NW, Washington, DC 20037.
