Jacob E. Laas, 26, of Gilbert, AZ, died February 7, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Simi Valley, CA, he was a construction superintendent. 

Survived by wife, Stephanie, of Gilbert, daughter Kaylee Rae of Gilbert, expected son on May 2, Tyler Jacob, of Gilbert, parents, Gale and Ray Richardson of Chandler; and Kenneth and Cathy Laas of Queen Creek, AZ; 3 sisters, Nicole Dillon of Gilbert, Annette Conti of Simi Valley, CA; and Ashley Basgall of Queen Creek; brothers Joshua Laas of Queen Creek, Kyle Richardson of Phoenix and Kasey Richardson of Maricopa, AZ. 

Funeral services, Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 739 W. Erie St., Chandler, AZ. Contributions may be made to Kaylee Rae Laas College Tuition Fund, Acct. #599878 at any Desert School Fed. Credit Union Branch.
