The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 10, 2003 Eugene Shanks, 68, of Glendale, died February 8, 2003. He was born September 9, 1934 in Elk City, Kansas. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Eugene is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Shanks; sister, Betty J. Woodall, of Cupertino, CA; friend of the family, Herb Kritz of San Francisco, CA and nieces, Kim and Megan Landgraf of San Jose, CA. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2003, Arrowhead Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave., Glendale. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at the church in building 1601. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E.
