Wyman Cremation & Burial Chapel. ~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Mark H. Wagner, 81, of Apache Junction AZ, passed away Feb. 6, 2003. Born in Woolsey South Dakota, Feb. 2, 1922, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II in New Guinea and Southern Philippines. He received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, World War II Victory Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Mark is survived by his wife, Phylis of 61 years; seven children: Tom (Colleen), Judy (Jeff) Cook, Jim, Kathy (Jeff) Stoelk, Pat (Dan) Rowley, Bill (Jody), and Kimmi (Jim) Hasson; 15 grand children: Tom Jr., Becky, Kelly, Shawna, Tyler, Casey, Amy, Josh, Brena, Bryan, Brianna, Brook, Fred, Sarah and Nicole; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; two sisters: Pauline (Ludwig) Pafko and Irene (Joel) Nitz; two brothers: Elgie (Leona) Wagner and Don (Jean) Wagner; and "Bear" his American Eskimo dog.
