Harold (Bob) Lewis, went to be with Jesus on February 8, 2003. He was born in Senath, Missouri on June 6, 1924, but was raised in Flint, Michigan.
He served in the United States Naval Seabees during WWII. Bob worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1983. He and his wife moved to Phoenix in 1987 and Sun City in 1992. Bob was a loving father and husband of 56 years.
He leaves his wife, Nora; and four children: sons, Robert and wife Phyllis; Daniel and wife Deborah; daughter, Cynthia McNeven and long-time friend, Charles Fisher and Debra and husband Les Conger. There are 6 grand-children, 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, James and two sisters, Dixie Kleinschrodt and Judith McLeish. Bob lived by his convictions and the love of Jesus Christ.
He was an avid motorcyclist. His sense of humor was evident to the end. He loved Jesus and his family. Bob was a charter member of Sun City Church of the Nazarene, where memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 12th, 2pm, 14636 N. Del Webb, Sun City.
Family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the church's Compassionate Ministries.
