MORRISON, Marilyn Marjorie


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 11, 2003 Marilyn Marjorie Morrison, 76, passed away February 8th, 2003 in Paradise Valley, Arizona. She was born in New York City and moved to Clayton, Missouri at age 13. Following her schooling, she married Dr. A.F. Morrison October 8th 1949. In 1956, after her husband's medical training, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona and have resided here since. Over the years, Marilyn volunteered her time to the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, the Maricopa County Medical Auxiliary, and the Visiting Nurses. Marilyn was a member of Phoenix Country Club for over 40 years. She was an extraordinary cook and world traveler, who loved to shop and loved her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, A.F., sons Richard (Victoria) and Robert, daughter, Pamela (Blake) Bonelli, sisters, Joan Nelson and Carol Sue Taylor, and four grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13th, A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix.
