Gail Woo, 71, died peacefully at home on February 9, [2003]. She was born in Canton, China and came to America at the age of ten.
She married Donald H. Woo in 1950 and was a lifelong partner in building a successful grocery and real estate business in the Phoenix area. Her gift in life was her profound, sustaining love for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor that uncovered the laughter in every human foible, and endured many years of illness with quiet grace and equanimity. We will miss her beyond words.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald H. Woo, Sr., and their children, Donald Woo, Jr., and his wife Ginger, Peggy Woo Zarotsang and her husband Chimey, and David Woo. She is also survived by their grandchildren, Michael Delgado and his fiancee Izuru Hino, Melanie Woo and Stephen Woo, and her siblings, Ken, Lilli, Ben, Jennie, Janie, Hugh, and Roy.
Visitation is on Friday, February 14, 6pm-8pm, and services on Saturday, February 15 at 10am, both at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix.
