The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 11, 2003 Johnnie Mae Young, 71, February 8, 2003. She was born April 23, 1931 in San Angelo, Texas. Johnnie was an adventureist, loving to travel. She was an avid reader and thrived on knowledge, She loved to laugh and always had a smile. Johnnie is survived by sons, Gary (Janet) Young of Flagstaff, Greg (Bernie) of Bayfield, CO; 7 Grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Arnold of Grand Junction, CO, Jay Arnold of Omaha, NE; sisters, Sarah Frazier of Eugene, OR, and Patsy of Texas. Memorial services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Norvel Owens Mortuary. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Northland Hospice, P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, Arizona 86002.
