KNELLER, Bernard Thomas (Tom)


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, January 13, 2003 Bernard Thomas Kneller, 81, of Chandler, Arizona, died peacefuly at his home with family in attendance, on January 10, 2003. Thomas was born August 15, 1921 in Dowagiac, Mich. Following his service in the 82nd Airborne Division in WWII, he moved to Chicago, Ill. There he met and married Dell Marie and with her, raised seven children. Tom worked for City Products, Inc., of Des Plaines, Ill. where he retired after 30 years as Controller of their Cold Storage Division in 1986. After Tom's retirement, he and his wife traveled the Caribbean and Europe extensively. After seeing the world they finally settled into spending winters in Chander and summers in Schaumburg, Ill., enabling them to spend their time with all their family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dell Marie, his sons Thomas, Robert, Jim (& Lisa), Dennis (& Donna), Martin, daughters Jane (& Jeff Liquori) and Ellen (& Gregory Butts). Tom is also survived by his sister Agnes (& Harold Ray) and his brother Jim (& Leone) and by his beloved grandchildren Lauren, Michael, Courtney, Jamie, Neal, Danielle and Nicole, who will always cherish the times they spent with Grampa.
