Alfred A. Newman, 69, of Chandler, Arizona, died January 11, 2003, after a long illness.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Al retired in 1985 after 41 years with the DuPont Company as an Equipment Service Technician.
He is survived by his wife Diane, one daughter, Bonnie (Rick) George of Chandler; two sons, Andrew (Fiancee Donna Messinger) of Gilbert and Paul Newman of Mesa, Az.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Padgett of Nashville, Tenn.
Memorial Services 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr., Chandler, Az.
Interment in the Arizona National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
