Rites Held For Samuel Howard
Samuel Howard, Wickenburg I resident for 10 years until he moved to Phoenix last December, died in Phoenix August 27. Service and burial in the Glenhaven Cemetery there were on August 31.
Mr. Howard, who was 80 years and 5 months old, was the father of Mrs. Herbert Johnson of Wickenburg. Also surviving are the widow, Mrs. Loutie Howard; three sons, Ralph and Hershel of Marysville, Calif., both formerly of Wickenburg; and two other daughters, Mrs. E. P. Bachman of Phoenix, a former resident here; and Mrs. Ray Fox of Harrisonberg Va.
Mr. Howard was born in Sedalia, Mo. While here, he and Mrs. Howard resided in the small house just behind the post office. He operated the popcorn stand in the Greyhound Bus station for a number of years.
