Cecile E. O'Neill, widow of Terrence S. O'Neill, died on Monday February 10, 2003 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was born in Ottawa, Canada.
She leaves behind her sons, Michael C. of Phoenix; Peter T. of Huntington Beach, California; Terrence of Scottsdale, two daughters, Valerie Rains of Scottsdale, and Suzanne O'Neill of New Westminster, British Columbia. A son, Anthony, predeceased her. She also leaves seven granddaughters and one grandson.
During World War Two, she served overseas as a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross as an ambulance driver. While a resident of Ottawa and Renfrew, Ontario. She was active in charitable organizations, was president of the local red cross in Renfrew, former president of the Renfrew Golf Club, hospital auxiliary. Before her retirement she was legal personnel coordinator at Lewis and Roca. She was an avid golfer, bowler, dancer, reader and led a very active life.
Visitation 5-8pm Thursday with Rosary service 7:00pm at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Friday Feb. 14th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3801 N. Miller Rd. Scottsdale, AZ.
