ROGERS, Richard L.


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 12, 2003 Richard L. Rogers, age 83, passed away Feb. 9, 2003. He leaves behind his wife, Lois, as well as her daughters; Carson Greene, Lee Guzman and Mary Townsend and 4 grandchildren, all of whom he proudly called his own. In his years as a Certified Financial Planner he accumulated a large group of clients whom he also called family. He was born in New York City and settled in Phoenix in 1964 where he could pursue his love of tennis year round. He had an active interest in the Heard Museum and taught financial planning in the community for many years and was a WWII Air Force veteran. In a celebration of a life well lived services will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at All Saints Episcopal Church 6300 N. Central Ave. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Heard Museum 2301 N. Central Ave. Phx, 85004. or Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phx, 85014.
